In the city of Vyshneve, Bucha district, Kyiv region, detonation of explosive items has ceased following a massive Russian attack.

As reported by the spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Kyiv region, Victoria Ruban, during the “United News” marathon, over 600 people have been evacuated from the incident site.

“At the moment, detonation is no longer observed, but an operational headquarters has been established on-site. Rescuers are working alongside National Police officers and local authorities,” stated Ruban.

Additionally, as noted by the spokesperson, more than 600 individuals have been evacuated. People are being relocated to designated safe locations.

Furthermore, specialists from pyrotechnic services and units are operating at all locations to inspect private properties for any potential explosive devices. Every residential building is being examined.

Separately, regarding air quality, she mentioned that there are currently no active fires as rescuers have extinguished most fires in private residences. However, she advised that for safety reasons, it is best to keep windows closed. If there are individuals with limited mobility, it is advisable for them to evacuate to designated areas.

In turn, as reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalesnyk, on Telegram, it has been established that three people died in Vyshneve as a result of the Russian strike.

“There are 26 reported casualties, including two children – a 9-month-old infant and a 12-year-old child. Eighteen people have been hospitalized; three are in critical condition. Doctors are fighting for their lives and providing all necessary assistance,” Kalesnyk noted.

He emphasized that the situation in Vyshneve remains complex due to a large-scale fire at warehouse premises caused by the attack.

“Dozens of facilities were damaged by the shockwave and debris. Private residences, administrative, warehouse, and commercial buildings were affected,” Kalesnyk reported.

He also pointed out that the atmospheric air quality temporarily worsened following the fires caused by the strike. “I urge residents, especially children, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses, to limit their time outdoors, keep windows closed, and closely monitor official announcements,” he stressed.
