Belarus continues to react to information about the attack on a bus in the Bryansk region, which, as stated, was carrying Belarusian children on vacation to Gelendzhik. The Permanent Representative of Belarus to the CIS, Igor Nazaruk, speaking at a meeting of the permanent representatives of the CIS countries, called it an attempt to draw Belarus into the war.
“We in the Republic of Belarus will take all necessary measures to protect the lives and ensure the safety of our citizens. And at the same time, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures against the Ukrainian side,” Russian state media quote Nazaruk as saying.
He added that Minsk would not allow Belarus to be drawn into military actions, but promised a “decisive rebuff,” for which “there are forces, means, and capabilities.”
According to him, Belarus reserves the right to “appropriate actions” against the Ukrainian side.
