Approximately 200 guests convened in the Great Dining Hall to celebrate Belgian-Norwegian friendship. Following their addresses, the monarchs raised a toast to the excellent bilateral relations between Belgium and Norway.
Queen Mathilde graced the banquet in a gold lace gown from Armani Prive, featuring a modest train and an off-the-shoulder design.

The dress had long sleeves and a straight silhouette that slightly hugged the waist, flowing gracefully to the floor and featuring a high neckline. Mathilde complemented her attire with the ‘Nine Provinces’ tiara and diamond fringe earrings. Her Majesty sported an evening hairstyle and makeup, presenting a regal appearance.

Regrettably, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, wife of Crown Prince Haakon, attended only the welcome ceremony and could not join the banquet due to health concerns.

However, her mother-in-law, the 88-year-old Queen Sonja, also donned an evening ensemble and attended the dinner, accompanying her 89-year-old husband, King Harald V.
